Scheduled Comprehensive Medical Assessment

A thorough annual medical and health evaluation can proactively identify and address health issues and help clients avoid serious illness. The initial and annual health checks are the core of the SanoMed executive health program.

Our doctor will conduct an hour-long initial health check. Patients will receive comprehensive written results and a series of follow-up steps, as appropriate. Key elements include:

Disease and Cancer Screening

Preventative screening tests for the early detection of cancer, heart disease, osteoporosis and other conditions.

Cardiovascular Prevention and Risk Assessment

Comprehensive physical exam and cardiovascular fitness evaluations, potentially including a treadmill test.

Vaccination Review

Review and update of medications and immunizations to support optimal disease resistance.

Preventative Testing & Supplemental Services

The executive health program initial assessment will include a standard set of tests, and our doctor may recommend additional tests or evaluations as appropriate.

Included Tests

Generally the executive health package will be structured to include lab tests such that most patients will be covered by the standard offering. Additional testing can be added as needed and may not be included in the base price. Tests may include:

  • Electrocardiograms (EKG)
  • CT, MRI and PET scans
  • Biopsies
  • Ultrasounds
  • Mammograms
  • X-rays
  • Bone density scans
  • etc

Supplemental Evaluations & Services

Our doctor may recommend supplemental evaluations, or the patient may also initiate some of the following:
  • Fitness test on a treadmill
  • Resting EKG
  • Nutritionist consultation
  • Podiatry evaluation and treatment
  • Physiotherapy : Musculoskeletal evaluation
  • Esthetic dermatology

Follow Ups & Ongoing Physician Access

The initial health check will result in follow up visits to review test results and plan any specialist appointments or additional tests.

Follow Up Appointments

Executive health clients generally have two to six follow up visits in the year after the initial physical exam. The number of visits will depend on the service level selected and any concerns identified during the exam.

Ongoing Physician Access

Additional visits for new concerns can be scheduled anytime. Your executive health plan can include a number of unplanned visits and they can also be added a la carte, as needed. The value of rapid access to dedicated care is hard to overstate.

Referrals to Specialists

Our physical exam and health assessment will be followed up with referrals to specialists, as needed. We provide referrals for consultations with both private specialists and RAMQ services.

Internal Referrals

The SanoMed Solutions team includes many specialists so you may get further medical attention within our clinic if we have a suitable resource available.

RAMQ Referrals

SanoMed private physicians will refer you to public system specialists as needed as well. In this case your specialist visit may be covered by RAMQ, for Quebec residents and others covered by the public system.
